JidbaaleAbdiqadir Ahmed Awcali, the leader of SSC-Khatumo, along with Ahmed Karaash, the former vice president of Puntland, and the commanders of the SSC-Khatumo army, recently visited the front defense lines of the military forces of SSC-Khatumo at Sallinta, situated 7 km distant from the village of Oog.
The leadership, SSC-Khatumo, delivered a speech in which they strongly encouraged the military forces to preserve their defensive capabilities. During the speech, Mr. Firdhiye warned the Hargeisa administration, and the leader declared, “Those who revealed your secrets have surpassed you, and presently you are in a position of vulnerability.” Additionally, Firdhiye informed us that Somalis are well aware of the true character of the Hargeisa administration, which they consider an adversary to Somalis.
Today, on August 25th, the people of SSC-Khatumo defeated the Hargeisa administration’s troops after an eight-month-long conflict. During this period, the Somaliland militias reinforced Gojacadde base and exploited it as a strategic site for their bombardment.
On August 25th, SSC-Khatumo strangled the base and exterminated the Hargeisa militants. Inside the army’s headquarters, a vast array of weaponry was captured, including both the army’s arsenal and firearms confiscated from the Hargeisa militias.
